Litchfield Carting Service is the contractor for weekly pick-up of residential recyclables. Litchfield Carting Service also provides residents with once a month scrap metal pick-up (first Friday of each month). Those residents who need scrap metal pick up must call 860-567-9702 in advance. New residents who need a weekly pick-up container must call Litchfield Carting Service at 860-567-9702. The Town of Goshen continues to participate in Household Hazardous Waste collection days. These collection days are held cooperatively with other towns in our region
and the location of the collection changes from year to year. Please check with the Litchfield Hills Council of Elected Officials 491-9884 for current information as to location and timing. In the past household collection days have been held twice a year.
