Special Town Meeting
December 18, 2007
Robert Valentine called the meeting to order at 8:03 P.M
Robert Valentine opened nominations for moderator. H. John Krukar nominated Robert Goldberg, seconded by Patricia Goldberg. Hearing no further nominations Robert Valentine asked that nominations be closed and the secretary cast one ballot for Robert Goldberg.
The Moderator asked the clerk to read the call.
Alan Walker moved to accept both parts of the item as per the call seconded by Patricia Goldberg.
Robert Valentine stated that per §8-24 the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the purchase and there was a favorable response. The Board of Finance met on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 to appropriate and expend the monies. This land is on the backside of the firehouse lot and would add an additional one hundred and thirty four feet (134’) in depth. It would provide an extra buffer. There is a nominal fee for this purchase.
A voice vote was taken on the question. The motion passed unanimously.
Robert Valentine made a motion to adjourn at 8:10 P.M. Seconded by Alan Walker.
