CONSERVATION COMMISSION
ORDINANCE
Sec. 16-1. Establishment. The Town of Goshen hereby establishes a Conservation Commission of seven members with all of the powers and duties provided in, and subject to all of the terms of Sec. 7-131a of the Conn. General Statutes. (4-6-1972)
Sec. 16-2. Organization And Appointment. The first members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Town as follows:
One member for a term ending November 1, 1972.
Two members for a term ending November 1, 1973.
Two members for a term ending November 1, 1974.
Two members for a term ending November 1, 1975.
Thereafter, on or before November 1, 1972, and annually on or before the first day of November in each year, the Chief Executive Officer shall appoint as many members to said Commission for a term of four years, as there are members whose terms expire in that year.

Sec. 16-3. No Compensation. No member of the Conservation Commission shall receive any compensation for his or her services. (4-6-1972)
Sec. 16-4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be effective 15 days after its publication in a newspaper having a circulation in the Town of Goshen. (4-6-1972)
