Title 29 - Building Official to comply with Woodridge Lake Sewer District
TITLE 29
BUILDING OFFICIAL TO COMPLY WITH WOODRIDGE LAKE SEWER
DISTRICT ORDINANCE IN ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS

1.      Status. Woodridge Lake Sewer District is a municipality within the limits of the Town of Goshen and as such is empowered to enact ordinances.   (12-19-1973)

2.      Sewer District Ordinance. Woodridge Lake Sewer District enacted an ordinance at a District Meeting held on April 3, 1972 governing the use of public sewers and drains, the installation and connection of building sewers and the discharge of waters and wastes into the public sewer system of said District.                (12-19-1973)

3.      Compliance with State Building Code. Buildings within the town and the sanitary system serving them must comply with the provisions of the State Building Code adopted by said Town, the enforcement of which is the responsibility of the Building Official of the town.               (12-19-1973)

4.      Building Official to Require Compliance. The Building Official of the Town of Goshen, in addition to compliance with the provisions of the State Building Code, shall require compliance with the aforesaid ordinance of the Woodridge Lake Sewer District before issuing a building permit where the construction contemplated lies within the boundaries of the Woodridge Lake Sewer District and includes facilities controlled by said ordinance.           (12-19-1973)

5.      Authority. Nothing herein shall be construed to authorize or require the town building official to act as such for the Woodridge Lake Sewer District nor shall it be construed to require anything less than full compliance with the Connecticut Basic Building Code.
