HEALTH

1.      1. PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING SERVICE
        The Town of Goshen organize a Public Health Nursing Service and appropriate the sum of $250. for the cause.             (10-5-1931)

2.      2. CORNWALL-GOSHEN PUBLIC HEALTH
        A.) That a public health nursing service be arranged for in conjunction with the Cornwall Public Health Nursing Association.
        B.) That the sum of one thousand two hundred ($1200.00) be included in this year’s budget to defray the cost of providing such service, three hundred dollars ($300.00) to which shall be appropriated from funds allocated to the Board of Education to defray the cost of school nursing service nine hundred dollars ($900.00) of which shall be appropriated from the Town budget to defray the expense for providing all other public health nursing services included in an approved program.
        C.) That six persons from Goshen, including a member of the Town government, and a representative of the Board of Education, be appointed by Health Officer as representatives of the Town of Goshen to serve jointly with representatives from Cornwall as the administrative board of the joint P.H.NG. Service.
        D.) That application for State Aid be made by the Health Officer to the Connecticut State Department of Health.         (8-27-1945)

3. APPLICATION FOR FUNDS
        To make application to the State of Connecticut for funds available for Public Health Nursing under Public Act No. 897.         (10-3-1955)

  4. DISTRICT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
        That the Town of Goshen shall unite with the Towns of Litchfield, Harwinton, Morris and Torrington to form a District Department of Health pursuant to Chapter 336 of Conn. General Statutes, Rev. 1958, as amended. Effective upon proper adoption of like resolution by all of said Towns.            (11-4-1966)
